Udupi : MP and State BJP Vice President Nalin Kumar Kateel has set a two day deadline to arrest the rapists of Manipal KMC student  failing which severe protest would be staged in both the districts.

Speaking to reporters, he also sought action against drugs mafia and also stake steps to provide tight security in educational institutions, hospitals and hostels.

He also  urged for steps to put a brake to late night parties in hotels.

He urged the police  to arrest the rapists without succumbing to pressure from any corner.

Udaykumar Shetty, District BJP Chief, former Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat, former ministers Nagaraj Shetty, Kota Srinivas Poojari, MLC Upendra Nayak and others were present .

A BJP delegation led by the MP also submitted a memorandum to the SP.
