Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha has urged the union aviation Minister Ashok Ganapathi Raju to restart the aviation service at Mysuru airport also. “Keeping tourism sector in mind, Mysuru airport should be provided by some flight,” he said.
“Mysuru has stood first among the top listed cities of India in terms of cleanliness, culture, yoga-education, tourism and business. Yearly on an average 30 lakh tourists will visit Mysuru. Especially during Dasara, the number of tourists will be more than ever. Considering all these facts in mind the government should provide flights for the existing airport,” he added.
He further mentioned that Mysuru airport has all sorts of basic facilities, but it is just aero plane’s which are missing.
Previously some flights had provided the service at Mysuru airport and due to various reasons all the flight services were stopped.
