Mangalore : A new Tulu film “Ekka Saka” is about to capture the attention of regular Tulu film goers on the coastal Karnataka, Bangalore, Mumbai and Dubai and other places its muhurat was launched in Gurpur on Sunday at the ashram of Vajradehi Mata of Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji who inaugurated the proceedings by holding the clapboard.
The film is produced by Lion Kishore D.Shetty, with Girish and Chandrahas Shetty as its partners. The photography is in the hands of Naveen Kerala,while music is given by Ravi B. The film is directed by K. Suraj, who has vast experience of working under other directors and this is his first directorial vehicle.
The 2 stars of the film are brand new as hero and heroine, named Hithesh Naik and Sonal Padil.The other character actors are Aravind Bolar and Naveen Padil who have made success full Tulu films earlier in their carriers. A number of stage artists also are featured in this new film is written by Sitharam Kulal a former Chaiman of Tulu Sahitya Academy in Mangalore. Kulal and Umanath Kotian another Chairman of TSA were in gathering.
“Ekka saka” is reported to be having a moving story of social values and virtues of Tulu nadu. The producers of the film are hoping that the Tulu knowing people will give them a lot of backing and inspire them to make a really good film out of “Ekka Saka”.
