Lucknow : Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today publicly praised BJP leader L K Advani and said, he never tells lies.

Speaking at a function to mark the birth anniversary of Socialist leader Dr Ram Manohar Lohia here, Mulayam Singh Yadav said, his son chief minister Akhilesh Yadav should now become strict, because there is conspiracy afoot against his government.

The SP supremo said there was rampant corruption in tehsil offices and police stations, and the state government should fulfil the promises made in the ruling party’s manifesto.

Mulayam Singh’s praise of Advani, comes three days after party spokesperson and Mulayam’s relative Ram Gopal Yadav praised former minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee and said, at least Vajpayee used to listen to his allies, but the present Congress government was sidelining its allies.
