Mumbai : Eight people were killed in a cylinder blast which occurred on Friday afternoon in a hotel at Kurla. The deceased include seven men and one woman.

The blast occurred in City Kinarra hotel located on Gurunath Wadi marg at Kurla. The deceased have been taken to a nearby civic hospital and further investigations are on.

According to initial reports, the explosion took place at Kinara hotel, which is just five minutes away from Kurla and Vidyavihar.

Injured have been admitted to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar .
