Mangalore: After the triple blast at Mumbai, the police department has ordered for High alert around the city on Wednesday July 13 evening.
Police commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said that the department has deployed the bomb squads in railways stations, malls, cinemas and the public places where large number of people gather.
He urged the public to remain calm and create no panic through rumours.
He also said that, the exit and entry points to the city have been secured through checking commuters passing through areas like Nantoor, Pumpwell and Kadri.
Police officials are detecting through any untoward situation and senior officials are also on alert.
