Mangaluru: Muneer Katipalla filed his nomination as CPI(M) candidate for Mangaluru North constituency on April 19, Thursday. Party leaders B K Imtiyaz, U B Lokayya, Gangaiah Amin, Sunanda Konchady and others were present.

He said his priority would be to seek a government hospital and college which Suratkal area lacks at present. He also stated that he would give preference to people friendly industries and provide employment opportunities to youth. He said he would like to represent the poor people of the constituency.
