Mangalore : Panambur sub-inspector Bharathi G and three constables were injured while the arrest operation for a murder accused at Baikampady on Tuesday June 24.

The Moodbidri attempt to murder case accused  Salam  assaulted SI Bharathi and three constables by a knife. The police team tried to snatch the knife from him, Salam also injured in the incident.

SI Bharathi and constables Chandrahas, Satish and Radhakrishna have been hospitalised.

Salam was wanted for Suratkal, Panambur and Moodbidri police station in several cases.
