Mangaluru : Actor Vinod Alva is being questioned by the Puttur police in connection with a complaint accusing the actor of planning a murder.

In a complaint filed before the Puttur police, Sachhidananda, a resident of Paduvannoor village near Eshwarmangala in Puttur taluk, has accused the actor of conspiring to attack him. 

In his compliant filed on Monday, Sachhidananda said he had been looking into matters related to Vinod Alva for the last few years in Eshwarmangala. On March 7 he discontinued it and filed a case before the local court seeking remuneration for the services he has rendered.

Sachhidananda said that on Sunday he left on his motorcycle with a villager as pillion rider to fetch milk. Near Hanumagiri in Eshwarmagala, his vehicle was hit by a jeep driven by Uday Chikkittaya. He accused Uday of causing the accident at the instance of the actor.

The police are questioning the actor regarding the allegations.
