Bangalore: An Interpol Red Corner Notice has been issued against notorious underworld don Hebbet Manja following reports of his alleged role in the recent attempt on the life of entrepreneur and builder Dayananda Pai of Century Group.

Though a court in Bangalore had served an arrest warrant against Manja in September last year, he had escaped abroad. Nearly 15 criminal cases including murder, murder attempt and dacoity cases are pending against Manja. If more cases are in Shimoga, some are in Bangalore

There is a strong suspicion that he might be in hiding in Dubai or Thailand. Interpol assistance has also been sought for the release of Manja.
