Mangalore:   Tension rocked Kulai in the outskirts of Mangalore on the evening of July 20, Friday when some assailants stabbed two youth in a shop at Kulai. This attempt on life is said to be in retaliation to the killing of Shivaraj, a young mechanic whose body was found on the railway track near Tokur on Friday morning.

Those who suffered in the lethal attack at Kulai were Jamaluddin and his cousin Khalander Shakeel. It is learnt, the incident took place when the two were in Jamaluddin’s shop. The condition of Jamaluddin is said to be critical while Shakeel is recovering.

The assailants are yet to be trapped. Investigations are in progress.
