Mangaluru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested Eight persons near Jokatte Industrial Area on Thursday, June 17,

The CCB police led by Inspector Valentine D’Souza raided the spot by a credible information and arrested eight persons.

It is said, they are planning to murder a man named Ilyas. According to sources, Illyas was released recently after serving jail term.

The arrested are Sahil Ismail (20), a resident of Krishnapura, Mohammed Suzaan (18), a resident of Haleangady, Mohammed Aneez (18) and Abdul Rauf (20) of Haleangady, Mohammed Suhail (20) of Kuthar, Mahendra (35) of Tyagarajanagar, Bengaluru, Srinivas (40) of Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, and Shravana (36) of Banashankari, Bengaluru.
