Mangalore : A musical concert ‘Gaata Rahe Mera Dil’ will be held at Town Hall on November
26 at 6 pm under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Mangalore. The proceeds of the programme will go towards ‘Cancer Detection’ one of the projects launched by Rotary District 3180.This was informed to reporters here on November 19, Monday by Daijiworld Weekly editor-in-chief and programme director Hemacharya.
Several well-known singers like Srikanth Kamath, Anitha D’Souza, Mohammad Haneef and Ranjan Das will entertain the audience with super hit songs.
The Rotary Club of Mangalore under the leadership of laparoscopic surgeon Dr Shivashanker Bhat Angri, its President, has taken up the task of increasing public awareness on cancer and enjoys the support of other Rotary Club, corporate bodies, media forums, and medical institutions.
Anitha D’Souza, the well-known singer who can sing in 8 languages, will lead the musical troupe which has presented shows across India and even in Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain and other
nations.The troupe has been organizing musical shows in Town Hall, and it’s previous show Yaadon Ki Baarath was held on August 26.
