Mangalore : State Minister for Forests and Ecology and District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai has said that the Congress government in Karnataka would work for the overall development of the backward classes and minorities.
He was speaking after accepting felicitation conferred on him by the Muslim Central Committee at a ceremony held in Mangalore on June 23, Sunday.
Rai said the Chief Minister is very much aware of the problems facing the BCs and minorities and said he would respond to their problems and chalk out programmes for development.
