Bangalore: An incident in which three bike bound assailants   shot at the manager of Muthoot Finance and then escaped, has been reported on Tuesday morning from near the Bangalore University.

The cause of the attack is not known. It is yet to be ascertained if it was a loot bid or an act of personal enmity. The  seriously injured manager Sudhaker has been hospitalized. He is said to be out of danger.

Muthoot Finance, the largest gold loan company in India has opened over 900 branches in the year 2011-12.
