Mangaluru : The public was apprehensive about the order issued by the deputy commissioner  and instructed the District Collector to re-clarify, said Kota Srinivasa Poojary Minister in charge of the district,

The Muzrai minister and district in-charge Kota Srinivas Poojary has issued a press release concerning the celebration of religious events amid coronavirus.

Yakshagana, bhoota kola, nema, poojas, felicitations and traditional religious programmes that are already scheduled can be conducted while strictly adhering to Covid regulations,” he clarified.

“More than 500 people are not permitted to gather on open grounds. People should comply with coronavirus guidelines by wearing masks and maintaining social distance,” stated the minister in the press release.
