Mangalore : A farewell function for the outgoing graduates andpost-graduates of Dr M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, Mangalore
was held at Ocean Pearl Hotel here.
JR Lobo, Mangalore South MLA who was the chief guest, urged physiotherapy patients to treat patients with great compassion. He said physiotherapists play a very important role in rehabilitation of patients. The MLA also said he was strongly in favour of setting up of a physiotherapy council in the state.
The MLA was felicitated on the occasion on behalf of the college.The function was presided over by Dr M.Ramgopal Shetty, Secretary , Dr M.V.Shetty Memorial Trust. He wished the outgoing graduates and post-graduates the very best in their career.
Dr Amit Sharma, Assistant Professor ITS college of Physiotherapy Ghaziabad, HOD, Ishaan Hospital, Delhi, was the chief guest. Dr Gladson Jose, Principal, Dr Meryl Joe Colaco, Co-ordinator of Post Graduate and Graduate centre, Dr U.T Ifthikar Ali, Academic Council member, Dr Mohammad Suhail, Member, Board of studies, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences were among others present on the occasion.
