Mangalore : “How can Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who failed to make any impact in Karnataka, exert his influence over the nation?,” questioned senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojari.
Addressing press persons at the Congress election office here on May 8, Wednesday, Janardhan Poojari said Modi had no credentials to become the prime minister of the nation.
Continuing, Poojari said his prediction that Narendra Modi’s visit to the state as well as Mangalore, will have no impact on the minds of the voters, has come true as the discerning voters have turned up against communal elements.
People of Karnataka through the Assembly election results have proved that those responsible for misrule and corruption will be shown the doors.
He also thanked the voters for the win in seven constituencies in DK and said the Congress lost only by a slender margin in Sullia.
District Congress interim President Ibrahim Kodijal, former mayor Ashraf, Balaraj Rai and others were present.
