Mangalore : Vipra Koota’s ‘Nammavaru’ association has arranged Mysore Dasara Doll exhibition in Nellikayi Raghavendra Mutt in the city which started from Wednesday October 13.
The Mysore dolls have been arranged in nine phases during the festival of Navarathri. The first line is reserved to the dolls depicting the King and the Queen. The second line displays the ‘Dashavathara’ still. Dolls depicting goddess Ashtalaxmi, Lord Ganapathi, Lord Shiva and some occurrences in the narration of Ramayana and Mahabharatha are also kept available.
The association has kept the dolls available for public view till October 17, Sunday.
Over 300 dolls in various forms have been exhibited on the occasion.
