Mysore: A.H Vishwanath, a former Minister and Mysore Now, has asked for the resignation og Gali Janardhana Reddy, Minister of Tourism and a mine-owner involved in several iron ore scams on Andhra, Karnataka borders, alleging that he is a tax cheat and saying that CM should drop him from the cabinet. The MP gave the amount unpaid as tax, to be as much as Rs.86 crores. Reddy owned Obalapuram Mining Co., since a few years.

He criticized the BJP government for not taking action against erring Ministers, but also failing to control sky rocking prices in everyday vegetables like onion, tomato and garlic etc. He deprecated the tendency of the state govt blaming the centre for everything instead of applying sure methods to control rising prices.
