Mangalore : Former President of Karnataka State Minorities Development Corporation and Baikampady Mohiyuddin Juma Masjid Jamath president N B Aboobakkar rubbishes the allegation of misappropriation of funds of the Masjid Committee.

Speaking at the press meet held at press meet held at Press Club on Mar 28, Thursday, he said that he is ready to reveal all the documents and transaction of the masjid committee. If the investigation shows any misappropriation of funds even to a small amount, I will not hold any authority in the Masjid committee.

Speaking on the recent protest by a few residents of Baikampady in regard to the issue related to his bodyguard Ranjith, Mr. Aboobakkar said that the protestor’s claim of case charged against 40 innocent people is false.

Both issues were preplanned by Congress leaders to tarnish his image and let down the party. After taking charge, I have taken up many developmental works in the masjid, he added.
