Moodabidiri: Nagaland Governor P B Acharya visited Alva’s Foundation’s Sundari Alva Campus at Vidyagiri, on Monday.
He appreciated the performance of Alva’s students’ after they performed various dance forms in front of gathering.
Addressing the gathering he said that knowledge acquired through universities will be fruitful when it is used for the betterment of the society.
“Modi government have implemented many pro-people schemes like Jandhan, students should reach the each corners of the country and should educate the people regarding the government implemented schemes,” he said.
He further said that students’ knowledge should not only help themselves to excel in their carrier, but in the betterment of family, society, state and the nation also.
“North east states are suffering from many problems. Other states should help north east states,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion Dr M Mohan Alva said that 750 students from north east states are studying in Alva’s college.
“We have adapted their culture here also. We are planning to visit Nagaland and to exchange educational and cultural thoughts with them also,” he stated.
