Mangalore : Nagara Panchami celebrations at Pilikula? Though surprising, hundreds of devotees visited Pilikula Nisaradhama at Vamanjoor on Sunday being Nagara Panchami Day.
The Shivaram Karanth Biological Park at Pilikula is celebrating Nagara Panchami and devotees offer milk and pay their obeisance to the Serpent God who they can see here.
Around 10 king cobras in the Biological Park and devotees place milk, plantains, tender coconuts and Agarabatti in front of them and offered their prayers. Devotees offered nearly 25 liters milk to the Serpent God symbolically, the milk was then offered to other animals in the park.
