Mangaluru : District BJP held stir against the harassment on police official’s and demanding resignation of K J George on Tuesday in front of DC office gate.

Addressing the gathering MP Naleen Kumar Kateel said that DySP Ganapathi is associated with Mangaluru.

“Before posting as a DySP at IGP office he had served in Ullal, Kadri and other police stations. He was a brave and efficient officer. The society was not supposed to lose him, but the harassment of the state politics killed him,” he said.

“Former home minister and other two higher police officials should take the responsibility of his death and should resign from their respective posts. Until they resign we won’t stop protesting. If K J George is not arrested soon, we will call for a district bundh,” he added.
