Mangaluru: Hours after BJP leader and former minister Krishna J Palemar openly communicated his discontent and pointed the finger at MP Nalin Kumar Kateel for losing the BJP ticket from Mangaluru North Constituency, the former denied the assertions leveled against him.
Addressing the media at the BJP office here on April 21, Nalin Kumar Kateel settled on it obvious that the choice of apportioning ticket was done by the party president and that he had no part in it.
“Palemar is a decent legislator and he has done numerous acts of kindness as a minister and a MLA. I respect him for that. Palemar too was the applicant for the ticket. He may have utilized my name in an agony, as he lost the ticket from the party. We will deal with the issue”, he said.
Discussing Satyajit Surthkal being denied ticket, Nalin Kumar stated, “Satyajit hosts worked for the party and Hindu associations. He has the right to look for the party ticket. Indeed, even I have conveyed this issue to the notice of the party high-command. State party leaders will address him. The individuals who lost ticket, will get great opportunities in the coming days.”
