Mangalore, The Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology organised a traditional walk ‘Namma Nadige Khadi Kadege’ at Town Hall Mangalore on Friday 13 March, 2014.

Tulu cinema actors an more than 10 married couples walked on the ramp. They exhibited traditional fashions in khadi saris and other varieties of khadi clothing.

Director of MIFT M G Hegde said Khadi is Indian traditional fashion. We have organized for the purpose of introducing it to the world.

Anoop Sagar and co-producer San Poojary of Nirel Movie, Bollywood director Sandeep Malani, Tulu cinema actors Karthik Banjal and Arjun Kapikad Miss Mangalore Faheema Fathima, Mr Mangalore Puneet Jayadev, former Mr World Raymond D’Souza, Charan Suvarna and Anupama Suvarna of Fashion ABCD, fashion photographer Suhail Mangalore, photographer Bhaskar Amtoor and others also participated in the ramp walk.
