Mangalore : Three bus passengers were injured after the bus, in which they were travelling, collided with a fish lorry at the busy Nantoor Junction in Mangaluru around noon on Tuesday.
According to traffic police, the bus was coming from Kulashekar while the lorry was coming down from Udupi side of the National Highway.
As the lorry was going towards Bhagwan Mahaveer Junction, the city bus reportedly came across. The lorry driver Abdullah turned his vehicle to the right as the bus brushed past the lorry and stopped a few meters ahead at the bus stop.
The three injured are Abdul Rehman, Lalita (45), Bartan Monterio (50).
A case has been registered with the Mangaluru East Traffic Police station against Kalandar Shafi, the bus driver, accusing him of rash and negligent driving.
