Kasargod: Kerala Narcotic Cell officials nabbed two ganja peddlers on Monday, July 25. 3.5 kg of ganja has been recovered from the accused.

The arrested persons are identified as B H Aziz (29) of Talakunnu Bedadka and Ibrahim Khalil (29) of Bekala. As per the reports another accused Ummar Farooq of Bendichal flew from the clutches of Narcotic cell.

The police have also seized the car used by the accused.

The raid team was led by Kasargod SI Ranjith Ravichandran and Vidyanagar SI P Ajith. It is said that the ganja peddlers were heading towards Kasargod from Kanhangad. The ganja was found inside the car in which the accused were travelling.

It is reported that the ganja was being transported to smuggle to abroad. The receiver was waiting at the airport.
