Bantwal : Mysore-Kodagu constituency MP Pratap Simha said that after Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi have become a household name.
He was speaking after delivering a special lecture at ‘Janadesha 2014’ programme at Sriram First Grade College at Kalladka in Bantwal taluk on September 3, Wednesday.
He also said that the whole world was wishing to see Modi’s vision as the Prime Minister and his relation with scientifically developed countries such as Japan is the first step towards the dream.
Present union government has total of 62 MPs belonging to the Dalit community and this is possible only by Modi who is working to give equal opportunities to all, he said.
He also said that Modi is further working to provide job opportunities for country’s youth in the employment sector and make them self-dependent.
Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka, convener of the institution delivered the introductory speech. B Narayana Somayaji, President of the institution’s management board presided over the event.
College Principal Krishnaprasad Kayarkatte welcomed the guests and gathering, while Kannada lecturer Yathiraj delivered vote of thanks.
