Mangaluru: Rationalist Narendra Nayak demanded formation of a special task force for the quick developments in RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that there is no development in the case even after two months of Naresh Shenoy’s arrest. Baliga was hacked to death on March 21. It’s been 5 months and no considerable developments were seen in the case.

“If Narco-analysis test is conducted to Naresh Shenoy, all the hidden names will come to light. Strict action should be taken against those who have helped Naresh to hide for long three months,” he said.

He further said that in a murder case took place in 2012; more than a dozen witnesses were turned hostile.

“Shenoy and Manju, another accused in the case has played behind the scenes to spoil the case and destructed the evidences. It was later found that the accused was employed by Naresh Shenoy,” he added.
