Mangaluru: The prime accused of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder, Naresh Shenoy’s judicial custody extended till July 18, said the third JMFC court in its order.
Naresh Shenoy was absconded as soon as Vinayak Baliga’s murder took place. He was absconding for over two months. Police had also issued a look out notice for him, and a special squad was formed to find Shenoy, as he is the prime accused in this case.
Previously police had arrested six people in connection with the same case. Out of them court has granted bail to two accused and remaining are still behind the bars.
Shenoy was given to police custody for interrogation and till then he is in judicial custody.
