Mangalore: Victoria Iuris 2013, a national level Law Festival was held at the SDM Law College in Mangalore on February 8, Friday. The event was organized by the college in collaboration with the Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research in Law.

Speaking after inaugurating the programme Ashok Nijagannavar, Principal District and Sessions Judge said law students have a great moral responsibility on their shoulders. He urged them to ensure that the confidence which the public has reposed in the lawyers fraternity was retained.

He also stressed the need to reduce the number of litigations by settling disputes through mutual talks.

BS Yedapadithaya, Registrar of Mangalore University, Dr B K Ravindra, Principal of SDM Law College, Mangalore, Greeshma Rai,  Vice Chairman  of Moot Court Society,  and several others actively participated in the programme. Anish Acharya, a member of the Moot Court Committee  proposed the vote of thanks.
