Mangalore : A two-day national workshop for social workers ‘Spandana’ organised at Roshni Nilaya School of social work concluded on February 22, Friday. The theme of the convention was ‘Convergence of Social Work Methods for Social Transformation.’
Sheena Shetty, Director of Jana Shikshana Trust and Ombudsman of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), DK Zilla Panchayat, who was the chief guest, stressed the need to have social service initiatives which are issue based.
