Mangalore: Navaratri celebrations at the Mangaladevi Temple in Mangalore concluded on October 24, Wednesday on Vijadashami Day with a grand Rathotsava. There was even a Bali Pooja on the occasion.
The temple procession with several tableaux and Huli Vesha troupes passed through several roads with thousands gathered on either side to witness the event of grandeur.
At Mangaladevi Kalpokta Pooja is offered to Navadurgis on all night days of Navaratri, when Goddess Mangaladevi is adorned and decorated in nine different ways on the nine days giving devotees a glimpse of the Navadurgis.
Navaratri was also celebrated grandly at Durgaparameshwari Temple at Bappanadu and Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari temple among other temples of the Goddess.
