Puttur:  The five member Naxal team which was spotted at Ammundange and Sudegandi areas last week in Shishila, on Wednesday night has visited houses in  Shiradi Addahole area and Mittamajalu areas of Puttur taluk even as the ANF is on an intense combing operations.

The Naxals which visited the house of Varghese a farmer in Addahole was there  from  8 pm to 10 pm and  left after having dinner, with rice, vegetables and sugar. If four of the Naxals were inside, one was standing outside with a gun in hand.

It is learnt, at Varghese residence, the naxals had charged their laptop and tried to contact someone through internet.

They spoke  kindly to the occupants of the house and requested that their arrival was not divulged to anyone.

Later, the group visited the house of Shibi and Joseph in Addahole area and has requested for rice but left when the house people said no. The team had four men and a woman.

The visit of the Naxals  has terrified the residents of the area who fear they may be in danger once the news appears in the media.

IGP Alok Kumar has visited the houses which were visited by Naxals and gathered information. The Naxals giving the ANF a slip has proved a head ache to the cops. So far, the Naxals have visited  seven houses  in the past nine days  amid combing operations by ANF.
