Bangalore: The Karnataka and Goa National Cade Corps Directorate observed World No-Tobacco Day by organizing a   procession and aurally in order to create awareness among the masses on the ill-effects of Tobacco consumption.

The participants of the rally held placards   urging people to say ‘no’ to Tobacco. At the Cubbon Park, the NCC cadets even took a pledge to refrain from consuming tobacco. They declared that they will remember this day whenever there arises a wish in them to consume tobacco, any day in the future.

School and college students also presented street plays on the ill-effects of Tobacco.
