Mangaluru : A new coronavirus positive case identified with the Bengaluru travelled woman on Wednesday May 20.
The 40-year-old woman resident of Neermarga had travell history from Rajajinagar in Bengaluru along with her son to Mangaluru on May 10.
She was having respiratory problems, she was admitted to Wenlock COVID hospital on May 17. The woman was suffering from Asthma and had blood pressure related issues.
The district administration is planning to seal down all the places the infected woman had been in the week.
Dakshina Kannada has now risen to 55 out of which 33 are currently active. As many as 17 persons have recovered and been discharged.
