Karkala: The new premises of Ajekar Branch of the Kukkundur Rajapura Saraswatha Credit Co-operative Society was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner of Kundapur Sadashiva Prabhu on November 4, Sunday.

The Strong Room of the Society was inaugurated by Upendra Nayak, in-charge President of Udupi Zilla Panchayat. K Nayana, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies of Udupi district, was the chief guest. Harishchandra Tendulkar, President of the Society, presided over the function. Vijaya Shetty, Trustee of Ajekar Sri Vishnumurthi Temple, Narayana Gavalkar, Managing Trustee of Sri Kshetra Lakshmipura, Arun Bhat, Surendra Nayak Kukkundur, Vice President of the Society, Sadananda Patkar, Ravindra Nayak Neere, Vishnumurthi R Nayak, Upendra Nayak, Devadas Nayak Hirgana, Directors and several others were present.
