Mangalore: The Sayyed Madani Arabic College will be celebrating its 42nd anniversary at the Ullal Darga premises on June 14. Even the 33rd convocation ceremony will be held to coincide with the occasion.
Informing this to reporters, US Hamza, President of Ullal Jumma Masjid and Darga committee said a burda majlis will be held the previous night in connection with the event.
A Sayyed Madani Hifzul Quran course and Da’wah College will also be inaugurated on the occasion. Students of Hifzul Quran course will be offered free education and food and boarding facilities. The students should have completed class V in madrasas, he informed.
Those who have completed SSLC can get admitted to Da’wah college which will impart religious as well as general education, he further said.
A vehicle rally will also be taken out from Pumpwell to Ullal on the inaugural day. Various Islamic leaders from Kerala and Karnataka are expected to grace the function.
