Puttur : The  case of alleged suicide of  young Prameela by hanging herself to a tree near the Kadri Park in Mangalore recently has taken an interesting turn.

There is a strong suspicion now that she might have been murdered and that she had not committed suicide. Already various organizations in Puttur, from where Prameela hailed, have urged for a thorough probe into the case.

Vijaykumar Sorake, a social activist of Puttur, has demanded that the culprits in the case should be arrested within a week. He also threatened a severe protest with the support of various organizations, otherwise.

He says Prameela was not a girl who would end life and that she had no such problems which would have forced her to end life.

Prameela, daughter of Ammu Poojari, of Dolpady in Puttur, was undergoing computer course in Mangalore and also working part time at a clothe store.

Vijaykumar Sorake said the associations would request the SP to undertake an intensive probe.

Prameela’s brother Hariprasad, AV Mohan, Charvaka Hitharakshana Samithi President and others were present.
