Mangaluru:  The Pumpwell flyover opened 10 years after starting construction has cracks appearing at many places over it, sighted on Sunday Morning

The rains lashed the city on Saturday, April 25 after which the cracks started to appear. Water had also collected at both ends of the flyover which was later removed by the JCB.

It is being alleged that this is a result of trashy work done in the race to finish construction before the January 31 deadline. There is no vehicular traffic presently moving over the flyover due to the lockdown supposedly not exacerbating the flyover’s condition.
