Mangaluru: The National Service Scheme (NSS) along with the Rovers and Rangers wings of Swastika National Business School, Mangalore, proudly announced the successful inauguration of ‘Parisara Maithri’, an initiative aimed at nurturing green friendship.

The inauguration was graced by the esteemed presence of Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Dakshina Kannada, who served as the Chief Guest and Inaugurator for the event. Capt. Brijesh Chowta symbolically marked the commencement of the initiative by planting a sapling, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability.

Mr. Nandan Mallya, Corporator Mr. Ganesh, Mr. Alankar Babu, Chairman Dr. Raghavendra Holla and Principal Dr. Malini N Hebbar were present during the event.

The ‘Parisara Maithri’ initiative marked a significant step towards fostering environmental awareness and promoting sustainable practices among the youth and the community.
