Mangaluru: The accident met two wheeler rider also died in hospital late evening on Tuesday, The newly-married couple who was riding near Nanthoor circle,  wife died on spot Tuesday noon.

The incident happened while a truck rammed into their vehicle at Nanthoor circle.

The deceased have been identified as Samreen (26) and Mohammed Sameer (30).

It has been reported that, Sameer was riding the scooter with his wife Samreen as the pillion rider.

A speeding tempo hit the scooter from behind killing Samreen on the spot. Sameer died at the hospital.

Samreen and Sameer were a newly-married couple they had returned from the gulf few days ago.

Kankanady traffic police have registered a case.
