Karkala : In a bizarre incident, a newly-wedded woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her husband’s house on September 16, Friday.

The deceased was identified as 29-year-old Dr Rachana Kini, a native of Goa.

She was married to Pradeep Kini, son of Dr Manjunat Kini and Dr Pratibha Kini , owner of Karkala Nursing Home.

Reportedly, the couple had shortened their trip and returned midway from Europe and returned from honeymoon just a few days ago. This issue had created misunderstanding between the duos.

The deceased was found hanging to the ceiling fan inside her bedroom, when she was left alone at home

A case has been registered and the investigation is on.
