Udupi: The arrested people’s list in Bhaskar Shetty murder case has continued. Police have arrested Niranjan Bhat’s father and his companion, on Wednesday.

Shrinivas Bhat, father of Niranjan and Raghavendra, driver have been arrested for destroying the evidences. Raghavendra had been taken to police custody for interrogation now he has been arrested officially.

It is reported that, Raghavendra wasn’t aware of Niranjan’s deeds. He drew the car before throwing the ash to the river. When Raghvendra asked about the ash and bones, Niranjan had said that he was throwing chicken bones.

Srinivas was held for helping Niranjan while cleaning ‘homa kunda’ where Bhasakr’s body was burnt and also helped to replace the bricks of it.

Same time, police found Bhaskar’s bones at Palli river while Rajeshwari and her son Navneeth were taken to Karkala for the identification of crime scene. The bones have been sent to laboratory for identification.
