Mangalore : NITTE University hand over Rs 25 lakhs to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) through DC A B Ibrahim at the District Commissioner’s office on October 11, Saturday.
The college collected the fund to provide assistance to worst floods devastated state of Jammu and Kashmir from the past 109 years. Hence Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an appeal to all Indians to donate fund for flood-affected people in Jammu and Kashmir through PM’s National Relief Fund.

DC A B Ibrahim, appreciated the efforts of Nitte University Chancellor N V Hegde, teachers and students of Nitte University for their contribution.
Dr M S Moodithaya, Director-Global Initiatives of Nitte University and Registrar of Nitte University, Dean of K S Hegde Medical Academy, Dr Sathish Kumar Bhandary and students hailing from Jammu were present on the occasion.
