Mangalore : Prof SV Parameshwar Bhat Memorial Award and workshop on Entry to Literature sponsored by Ankitha Publication was held at Canara College Auditorium on Feb 8, Tuesday.
Participating as the resource person on the occasion, Sandalwood director Nagathi Halli Chandrashekar said that there are many ways to enter into the field of literature.
He also said that when a child is born, the first word heard by it will remain for long time. A person need not have any definition to enter into the literature. There is certain qualification required to enter into the field of literature.
The literature will involve the happiness, smile and other qualities, he added.
Principal of the College, Satyanarayan Mallipatna said that the person who is interested in literature must opt for languages which he is thorough with, so that it will help him to reduce the mistakes.
Later he also spoke on the language and the usage of language in the literature.
Varadaraj Chandragiri, Chandrakala Nandavar, secretary of the committee, Prabhakar Joshi and Prof N Damodhar were present.
