Mangalore : Union Minister M Veerappa Moily has said that  there would be no hike in LPG and diesel prices . He rubbished rumours in this regard.

Speaking to reporters in Mangalore, Moily said though the proposal for a hike was before the Union Ministry, a final decision would be taken at the right time.

He was also critical of the state government and said the government had no interest in appointing the Lokayukta which would continue probe into irregularities.

Moily further said the Congress was presently busy finalizing candidates for the next elections. He also struck a note of confidence by stating the party would emerge victorious.
