Srinagar : In view of continued violence in Kashmir Valley and Muslim areas, curfews and clashes with CRPF units and deaths by firing of Indian forces on local citizens who hanker for freedom, the non-Kashmir is working in Banks, Insurance, Railways and business offices in J&K are now fleeing the region for safety. Those touring J&K on holidays also are turning away in large numbers.
The demonstrators in fury are attacking state buses and railways stations between Sopore (Srinagar) and Badgaum (Jammu) these days continuously and threatening non-Kashmiris out of their rented houses, as no Indian can acquire property in J&K, whereas Kashmiris refuges and men of wealth have acquired lands and buildings in ports of India, even high ports since 1947. Hundreds of Railway workers have returned to Jammu from Srinagar and other areas on way. The Railwaymen are unable to do any work on projects up to Srinagar, as stone throwing and arson continue in Kashmir. Central Govt, employees in Kashmir have sought transfers to safer places.
