Delhi: Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai reiterated that he was not an aspirant for the Haveri Lok Sabha ticket.
He is in Delhi to attend a two-day nation executive meeting of the BJP told reporters here on Saturday that he was neither an aspirant for the Haveri Lok Sabha ticket or don’t have any expectations. This had been clarified a number of times in the past.
Bommai said he would work for candidate who would be given a ticket to contest from the Haveri seat. A meeting with the BJP leaders of Haveri and Gadag had been held. The sitting MP Shivakumar Udasi was being convinced to contest again but he seems to be stubborn on his decision.
